My husband and I often recall our second child's birth and how redemptive it was and Heather had a large part to play in that. I specifically sought Heather out for two reasons: 1. My best friend had used Heather months prior to my dausghters birth in her VBAC and raved about how wonderful it was to have Heather in her birth process. And 2. The importance of Heather's faith in the birth process and how I know I would have a sister in Christ alongside me helping me labor. Heather helped me successfully achieve a VBAC! She supported me mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionally throughout my entire labor. Heather came to my house about 20 hours before I gave birth and helped me labor in various positions at home before heading to the hospital. When I got to the hospital, I had progressed to 5cm dilated which is a testament to Heathers help in laboring at home.  She also supported my husband as well in ways that he could labor with me and advocate for me. We are hopeful that we can use Heather again in a future pregnancy!
