Heather was our doula for both of our beautiful home births, and I can’t imagine either experience without her. Although my two labors were completely different, she supported me perfectly in both adapting to what I needed each time with such intuition, calm, and confidence.

During my first birth, Heather helped me work through an intense overnight labor with steady reassurance, comfort measures, and encouragement that made me feel capable every step of the way. Even in the most challenging moments, I never once felt like I couldn’t do it, and I truly believe her presence helped me stay grounded and strong.

My second birth was much faster and, honestly, such a fun and joyful experience. I labored throughout the day, spending much of it chatting and laughing with Heather and my husband between contractions. She was with us longer this time, and her guidance through different positions and gentle coaching helped my labor progress beautifully. Her counter pressure during contractions was amazing, and her calm, caring energy filled the whole space with peace.

From the very first consultation, my husband and I knew Heather was the right doula for us. We immediately clicked with her warmth and personality and felt she would be an incredible addition to our birth team. That instinct couldn’t have been more right. She not only supported me but also helped my husband stay calm and confident — something that made a huge difference, especially during our first birth when we had no idea what to expect.

Heather worked seamlessly alongside our midwives and brought such a grounding, nurturing presence to both of my births. I’m endlessly grateful for her care, her wisdom, and the way she helped make both experiences so positive and empowering. I truly believe every birthing family would be lucky to have her by their side.
